Support for first nations learners
First Nations students are often overlooked at school. To prevent disenchantment with education, it is crucial to break through the barriers they have to confront. Thankfully, the SA government pays for tutoring lessons.
Mentors & Role Models
Budding offers more than just tutoring; we understand that the best outcomes for students come when they have a role model who takes an interest in their students’ success. Often the best attribute of a tutor is that they are neither a teacher, parent or peer, but a mentor who encourages hard work without coming from a place of authority.
APAS Funding
Primary and secondary public schools who use Budding Tutoring for the tuition of Aboriginal learners can pay for the lessons with the Aboriginal Program Assistance Scheme (APAS) from the SA government. The SA government will provide funding for each Aboriginal student of the school to receive tutoring, so the school will not be out of pocket.
